Contracted Services

  • The City of Greenfield Mayor has made an emergency proclamation to set a paid contractor license fee at $100.
  • All paid contractors must complete an application, pay the fee, submit certificates of insurance, and complete a background check at city hall prior to approaching residents.
  • Background checks can be completed in-person at Department of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Des Moines or online.
  • Certificates of Insurance can be emailed to laura.wolfe@gmu-ia.com

Need clothing, supplies, household items, food?

  • Hygiene items are available at The Gathering Place from 5-6 p.m. Thursdays. 
     
  • Clothing, towels and bedding are available next to NV Nutrition at 176 Public Square from 2-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Proclamation of Disaster Emergency

Governor Reynolds has authorized a Proclamation of Disaster Emergency for Adair County, activating the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and Disaster Case Advocacy Program. The Iowa Individual Assistance Program provides up to $5000 to eligible households with incomes up to 200% of the federal poverty level. The Disaster Case Advocacy Program works with individuals to address serious needs related to injury or hardships caused by a disaster.
